Welcome to the UK Cardiac CT Course
We have successfully hosted Cardiac CT courses since 2004 and combined level 1 and 2 courses since 2010 (previously called Harefield Cardiac CT Course). These courses have been well attended, with participation from radiologists and cardiologists from all over the UK and abroad. Doctors from related specialities, such as nuclear medicine and cardiac surgery, have also participated in the courses to understand cardiac CT.

Please note that this course is NOT intended for radiographers or technicians.
This course aims to teach the various steps and processes involved in acquiring and interpreting cardiac CT for radiologists and cardiologists who wish to report Cardiac CT independently. Participants learn a systematic approach to reviewing and interpreting a large volume of data from a Cardiac CT study, which can be adapted to any modern workstation. The course comprises all lectures on an online e-learning platform that delegates must complete before attending the course (totalling 12-14 hours of study). This allows participants to become familiar with cardiac CT techniques and principles before attending the course, providing more time for hands-on training.
The six-day on-site course provides comprehensive, hands-on training, with supervised mentoring by Level 3 trainers, towards the new Independent Practitioner (IP) Level 2 SCCT certification, as well as the current BSCI Level 2 and EACVI Level 2 certifications. Prior level 1 training is not required for this course. You will still need to undergo on-site training to fulfil the accreditation requirements by the professional societies. Please see our FAQ section for additional information. Capacity is limited, and places will be allocated strictly on receipt of the registration fee.
We are committed to supporting education for underprivileged children in developing countries and research in cardiovascular imaging. Any profits from the courses are used to support these activities.
